Justin Young, DDS

My interest in becoming a volunteer dentist with Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services started while I was dental school serving in other organizations such as Good Shepherd Ministries, OKMOM and Catholic Charities.  I wanted to continue to give back to Tulsa and the surrounding community as I began my professional career as a General Dentist.

Our duty as doctors and dentists is to teach and do good for others around us.  EOODS is one of the best ways to give back. I can involve my office staff and create a culture of philanthropy within our office.  Life is not meant to be lived alone. We need each other to not just survive but also thrive within our community.  There is a huge need for EOODS services in Tulsa.  It’s amazing the transformations that have been achieved through some of the patients.  Not only are we changing their health and appearance, but we are inspiring confidence.

After I graduated and joined our family practice with my uncle and cousin, we began working mainly with the Women In Recovery program.  We have since expanded our efforts to accommodate more patients that need to be seen. One of my favorite patients was a young woman named Jasmine. She had peg lateral incisors and a few broken and infected teeth. Jasmine ended up getting extractions, a root canal, crowns and implants. She walked away with the biggest, most confident smile I have ever seen.

The EODDS team has been so wonderful to work with and has allowed our office to treat the patients as if they were a family member.  Giving them the best dental care that we can provide has been a blessing to me as much as it has them.
