Opioid Mitigation with Dr Ray Beddoe

Join us for breakfast and informative morning of CE. This four-hour continuing education lecture will demonstrate the step-wide approach to reducing acute postoperative dental pain, using the World Health Organization Analgesic Ladder. This well-established Ladder has formed the factual basis for the introduction of steroids as a way to reduce opioid usage. The current CDC recommendations for pain relief, the inter-conversion and relative potency of commonly prescribed opioids, steroids, and NSAIDS will be discussed.

Reminder: Dentists are now required to have at least 2 hours of continuing education over opioids each reporting period.
