What is the most rewarding part of being an EODDS volunteer?
Making a difference in peoples lives who cannot take care of it themselves. Lately we have been seeing patients from the medical waiting list. For some, dentistry is the only thing standing in the way of them getting on the transplant list. It is so gratifying when I can sign that dental release form and help get that person on the road to a new chance at life.
What would I say to other dentists?
You only need to take a small part of your work week to make a difference. If we each help one, imagine how many people we can implact!

I saw a transplant patient last week for their final two fillings and perio treatment. In three weeks, we were able to take him from not knowing how he could get a kidney, to having hope!
