How long have you been an EODDS volunteer?
We are fairly new to this program, just finishing our first month of services.

What is the most rewarding part of being an EODDS volunteer?
The smiles (and sometimes tears) we get when a patient realizes they’ve got their smile back.

Describe an EODDS success story at your practice.
Recently we did a Wax Preview of a patient who loved the teeth so much she didn’t want to give them back. We told her no worries, we would have her processed denture back today.

She said, “Today!? Last time I had teeth made it took over a month.”

I said, “Yep. Today!”

What would you say to other dentists who are not currently volunteers?
The rewards of the EODDS program speak for themselves. Most healthcare professionals go into practice to help people and EODDS helps people. We’re happy to be a part of this program.
